A Carrollton, Missouri resident, 82 year old, Mrs. Ruth Ford, passed away, Friday, February 19, at her
home. Ruth was born August 29, 1916 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; the
daughter of Clifford and Alice Verry Titus. She graduated from high school
in Wayne, Nebraska. Ruth was married to Marion Ford on February 14, 1973
in Marshall, Missouri. He survives at the home. She was a member of
the United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge in Carrollton, MO .
Survivors include her husband; one son, Clifford Cox, Omaha, Nebraska;one
daughter, Carol Abbott, Campment, Wyoming; five grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; one brother, Gordon Titus;Sharon Springs, Kansas and two
sisters, Erma Williams, Wallace,Kansas and Alice Davis, Cheyene, Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one grandson.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, February 22, 1999 at the Gibson
Funeral Home in Carrollton, MO with the Reverend Jim West officiating. The
family suggests contributions to the Methodist Church in memory of Mrs.

Mildred
Loraine Frakes, age 75, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Saturday,
December 15, 2007 at Carroll House. Mildred was born May 15, 1932 in
Waverly, Missouri, the daughter of William and Muriel (Ash) Persinger. She
graduated from Waverly High School. On November 7, 1947 she married James
Lincoln Frakes in Waverly, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 29,
2005. Mildred was a member of the Waverly Baptist Church. She had worked for F.
M. Stamper Company and retired after twenty years of service at the Marshall
Habilitation Center. Mildred is survived by two sons, Floyd James (Jimmie)
Frakes and wife Glenda, Carrollton, Missouri, Raymond Michael (Sam) Frakes and
wife Vicki, Bosworth, Missouri, four sisters, Mae Scribner, Vivian Sales, Ellen
Winfrey, Betty Parker, one brother, John Persinger, all of Kansas City,
Missouri, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and several
great great grandchildren. Her parents, one son, Lloyd Wayne “Buddy”
Frakes, two grandsons, Chris and Todd Frakes, one great grandson, Jakob Bowen,
and two brothers, Bobby and Jack Persinger, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Gibson
Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Ken Prewitt officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Park Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri. Visitation
will be from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Gibson Funeral Home,

Ruth Evelyn Pitts Francis,
age 101, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away Friday, March 5, 2004. Ruth was
born February 16, 1903 on the family farm west of Bogard, Missouri; the fourth
child born to Samuel Davis Pitts and Estella Clair Traughber Pitts. She attended
the Hood Grade School and graduated from Bogard High School. She became a
member of Mandeville United Methodist Church at an early age. Ruth was
married to Raymond Paul Francis on June 9, 1933 in Carrollton, Missouri; he
preceded her in death on June 9, 1966. To this union was born a son,
James Pitts Francis of Mount Prospect, Illinois and a daughter, Margaret Ann
Francis Salna, Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is also survived by her grandsons,
James Raymond Walter Francis and David Scott Francis of the Chicago, Illinois
area; sister-in-law, Mrs. Bruce (Helen Rose) Pitts; nepews and
nieces, Robert Pitts, Dale Pitts, Jerry Pitts, Donald E.
Buzard, Norma Lee Sugg, Maxie Jean Todd, Spencer Francis,
Frank Sloan, Donald Sloan, sister-n-law, Mrs. Herbert (Vera
Corbin) Francis and her daughter, Mary Jane. Ruth was preceded in death by her
husband, Raymond P. Francis; one sister, Mrs. Norman
(Beulah Pitts) Buzard; and two brothers, Raymond Pitts and Bruce
Pitts. Ruth will always be remembered for her loving spirit, her zest for life,
and love of family and home. She will be fondly missed by all her
family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday,
March 10, 2004, at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton, Missouri, with the
Reverend Walter Brunner officiating. The family will receive friends from noon
until 1:15 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ebenezer

Lester D. Frankum, age 76, of
Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at Carroll County
Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri. He was born October 23,
1927 in Mandeville, Missouri, the son of Jesse and Verna Wampler Frankum.
He graduated from Bogard High School, Bogard, Missouri. He was in the
United States Army from 1952 to 1954. On December 9, 1962, he married Shirley
Snider in Carrollton, Missouri. She survives at the home. Lester
followed the occupation of farming and was a member of the Mandeville Methodist
Church. He is also survived by two sons, Doug and Mark Frankum, both of Bogard,
Missouri; eight grandchildren, Melinda, Ashley, Cassie, Dylan, Kaylie, Shelby,
Jordan and Dustin. His parents, two brothers, George and James, and one
grandson, Christopher, preceded him in death. Graveside services will be at 1:30
p.m., Monday, March 29, 2004 at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bogard, Missouri with
Reverend Ken Prewitt officiating. Mr. Frankum will lie in state Sunday, March
28, 2004 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri from 1-8:00 p.m. The

Aldean Marie (Deda) Fisher, age 36, of Carrollton, Missouri
passed away Saturday, March 13, 2004 at the Carrollton Nursing Center,
Carrollton, Missouri. She was born July 22, 1967 in Carrollton, Missouri, the
daughter of Russell Dale Wells and Helen Marie Wohlgemuth McTiernan. She
graduated from Bosworth High School, Bosworth, Missouri. On August 14, 1986, she
married Roy Fisher in Carrollton, Missouri. He survives at the home.
She was a housewife and an avid horsewoman. She was a member of the
Southside Baptist Church, Carrollton, Missouri. Deda is also survived by her
mother and step father, Helen and Eugene McTiernan, Aurora, Colorado; her
father, Russell Wells; one step son, Steven Fisher, Carrollton, Missouri; one
brother, Charles Wells, Aurora, Colorado; two step brothers, David and George
McTiernan, State of Colorado; five sisters, Christina Griffin, Hardin, Missouri,
Tessie Harmon, Carrollton, Missouri, Jennie Chandler, Gunther, Oklahoma, Melody
Wolf, State of Oregon, Pat Ruby, State of New Mexico; nieces and nephews,
Tiffany Harmon, and Beth and Cara Griffin, Darren Harmon, Jason Fisher, Betty
Ilene and several cousins. Her grandparents and her stepmother preceded her in
death. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Gibson
Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Lee Borders officiating.
Burial will be in Fairhaven Cemetery, Norborne, Missouri. Visitation will be
from 7-8:00 p.m., Monday, March 15, 2004 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton,

Lucille
Hansel Flynn of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 12,
2007 at the Carroll House at the age of 80. Lucille was born on a farm
southwest of Carrollton on August 2, 1927. She was the daughter of William H.
and Sophia Kase Hansel. She attended Fletcher Grade School and graduated from
the Carrollton High School with the class of 1945.
She attended the
University of Missouri and moved to Kansas City where she worked selling office
machines. January 1969 she married John (Jackson) Flynn in Seattle,
Washington. They resided in Northbrook, Illinois until Jackson’s death in 1972.
Lucille moved back to Carrollton and worked at the Carroll County Memorial
Hospital and in Chillicothe selling office machines until 1979 at which time she
moved to Seattle, Washington to be near her sister and her family. After
Lucille’s retirement, her final move was back to Carrollton in 1993 where she
worked weekends and holidays at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. Lucille
was a member Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church Evening Guild, Carroll
County OATS Committee and a past member of the Carrollton Woman’s Club.
Lucille is survived by two brothers and a sister, Glenn Hansel and Naomi of
Carrollton, Harry Hansel and Doris of Hastings, Minnesota, Dorothea Hansel
McDaniel of Kent, Washington, and a sister-in-law Jean Hansel of Minooka,
Illinois. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces,
great-nephews and dear friends. Lucille was preceded in death by her
parents, her husband, three brothers, Clayton Hansel Carrollton, Perry Lee
Hansel Minooka, Illinois and Junior Laverne who died in infancy. Funeral
services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Immanuel Lutheran Church, Carrollton, Missouri, with Pastor Eric Swyres
officiating. A private family burial will be held. The family suggests

Mrs. Mary
Beulah Frock, 93, died Tuesday,
Dec. 29, 1975 in Boerne, Texas. She was a former resident of Carroll
County. Mrs. Frock was born on Dec. 6, 1882 in Bosworth, the daughter of
James H. and Harriet Helm Humphries. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.
Ilene Antrim, Boerne, Texas; two grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. at the Gibson
Funeral Home in Carrollton by the Rev. Lanny Lybarger. Burial will be in
Fairhaven Cemetery, Norborne.
A former Carrollton, Missouri, resident,
Robert Gene Fry, age 58, of Belton, Missouri, died
April 1, 1999, at the Belton Research Hospital. He was born July 25,
1940, in Carrollton, Missouri, the son of Robert Derald and Glendena Brown
Fry. He attended Carrollton Grade and High School, graduating in
1957. He attended Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri. He
served in the US Army in Vietnam. He worked as a deliveryman for ARCO
Pipeline for over 28 years, before retiring in 1994. He was a member of
the Carrollton First Christian Church. On September 15, 1968, he was
married to Jeanette Blasche in Pontiac, Illinois. She survives at the
home. Other survivors include a step-son, Mitchell Blasche, Las Vegas,
Nevada; a step-daughter, Jodi, and husband, Lynn Friesner, St. Louis, Missouri;
his mother, Glendena Fry of Carrollton; and two step-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his father in 1998 and his grandparents. Funeal
services will be 3:00 P.M., Monday, April 5, 1999, at the Gibson Funeral Home in
Carrollton. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Nancy Fuller, age 78, of
Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Carroll House.
Nancy was born June 29, 1929 in Carrollton, Missouri, the daughter of Alex and
Minnie Belle (Custer) Goodson. She graduated from Carrollton High School. Nancy
attended Patricia Stevens College in Kansas City, Missouri. On July 2, 1950 she
married Hugh Francis Fuller in Benton, Arkansas. He survives at the home.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother and a homemaker. She was a high school secretary
in Hannibal, Missouri for ten years. She was a secretary at St. Paul’s Episcopal
Day School in Kansas City, Missouri, and co-owner of Fuller Marketing, Inc. in
Carrollton, Missouri. Nancy had attended the First Presbyterian Church in
Hannibal and Carrollton. She was a member of the Carrollton Woman’s Club, PEO
Chapter EQ, and the Trotter Hustlers. Nancy is also survived by two children,
William Alexander Fuller and wife Mary Elizabeth, Higginsville, Missouri,
Cassandra Ann Berghager and husband Mike, Carrollton, Missouri, one sister,
Patricia Hamlin, Ft. Worth, Texas, one brother, Alex Goodson, Jr. and wife Ila,
Carrollton, Missouri, four grandchildren, Scott Phillips, Brooke Phillips, Will
Fuller and Matt Fuller. Her parents, one son, Mark Edward Fuller, and one
sister, Betty Goodson Moore, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at
1:30 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2008 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri,
with Reverend Fred Seba officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery,
Carrollton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 20,
