Bessie Ella Woolston Ramsey
, age 96, of Carrollton,
Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2004 at her home. She was born July
13, 1907 on a farm at Wakenda, Missouri, the daughter of Walter and Mary
Hardwick Woolston. She lived in Carroll County all her life. She
attended Rosebud School. On June 5, 1930, she married Clyde Wilbur Ramsey.
He preceded her in death on August 8, 1959. To this union two sons were
born, Lawrence Marvin Ramsey and Charles Everet Ramsey. She is survived by one
son Charles Ramsey and his wife Donna, Carrollton, Missouri; five grandchildren,
Beatrice Sue Moore and husband David, Smithville, Missouri, Maxine White and
husband Bob, Lathrop, Missouri, Kenney Ramsey, Wellington, Missouri, Vicky
Mendoza and husband Manuel, Marshall, Missouri, Ricky Ramsey, Belton, Missouri;
two step grandchildren, Michael Shane Decker and wife Cherry, Independence,
Missouri, and Rochelle Decker, Chicago, Illinois; ten great grandchildren and
five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and
one sister, Charles Woolston, Harry Woolston, Jim Woolston and Ruth Sanders; one
son, Lawrence Ramsey and two grandchildren. Graveside services were at 2:00
p.m., Sunday, March 14, 2004 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri with
Carl Cowick officiating. Visitation was from 1-1:45 before the service. The
family suggests contributions be made to the charity of one’s choice. They

Wanetta Reeves, age 84, of Stet,
Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Carroll House. Wanetta was
born January 9, 1924 in Carroll County, Missouri, the daughter of R. G. and
Florence (Miller) Bales. She graduated from Stet High School. On June 28,
1941 she married E. E. (Ed) Reeves in Richmond, Missouri. He preceded her in
death on March 20, 2003. Wanetta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and
great grandmother. She and her husband had owned and operated Reeves’ Garage
where she was the bookkeeper. Wanetta was a member of the Church of the Brethren
in Stet and was a member of the Ladies Aid at the church. Wanetta is survived by
two children, Larry Reeves and wife Sherry, Blue Springs, Missouri; Sandria
Shields, Carrollton, Missouri; one brother, Ray Bales and wife Willie, Stet,
Missouri; six grandchildren, John Berning and wife Trina, Marshall, Missouri;
Glenda Carmack and husband Ron, Warrensburg, Missouri; Donna Gandhi and husband
Jeramiah, Warrensburg, Missouri; Joy Becker and husband Jack, Carrollton,
Missouri; Sarah Koechner and husband Doug, Liberty, Missouri; Timothy Shields
and wife Rosa, Kansas City, Missouri; sixteen great grandchildren, and one great
great granddaughter. Her parents, one brother, Eldred Bales, and one great
granddaughter, Jadyn Catherine Fay Becker, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Gibson
Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Jason Frazer officiating. Burial will
be in Wakenda Cemetery, Hardin, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. on
Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family suggests
contributions be made to the Church of the Brethren in memory of Mrs. Reeves.

Elizabeth Virginia Miller Renzelman,
85, of Liberty, Missouri, died Saturday, December 25, 2004, at Liberty Care
Center. A funeral will be held Tuesday, December 28, at 1:30 p.m., at
Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, followed with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery,
Carrollton. Elizabeth was born January 1, 1919 in Carrollton, the daughter
of Harry D. Miller and Myrtle Curtis, and lived in the Carrollton area a great
deal of her life, also in California, Texas and Oklahoma. Elizabeth
graduated from Carrollton High School in 1937. Elizabeth was married to Virgil
Frederick George Renzelman in 1939. To this union one daughter was born,
Judith Ann. Elizabeth was employed with the Beck and Harris Construction Company
before retiring to Cleveland, Oklahoma. Elizabeth was a member of the First
Christian Church, Carrollton, the Trotter Hustlers Club, the Forum Club, and
served as a member of the board for the Carrollton Library. Their daughter,
Judith Ann Endres, son-in-law, Frank Endres, her husband, Virgil and her sister
Faye Marie Kinker, preceded Elizabeth in death. She leaves to cherish her memory
one sister, Mary Catherine Miller Harper, Cypress, California, five nephews,
John Miller Kinker, Raymore, Missouri, Harry Lee Kinker and his wife, Nancy,
Adrian, Missouri, Curtis Milton Kinker and his wife, Beverly, Lenox, Iowa, Rick
Lee Renzelman and his wife, Cindy, Pontiac, Illinois, Tabb Renzelman and his
wife, Joyce, Raymore, Missouri, and four nieces, Shirley Ann Harper Bloom and
her husband, Julian, Cypress, California, Mary Jane Kuhlman and her husband,
Richard, Kansas City and Bella Vista, Arkansas, Martha Elizabeth Hutson and her
husband, Bill, Franklin, Tennessee, and Loretta Renzelman Harding and her
husband, Gary, The Woodlands, Texas; seven grandnephews, Brian Eugene Hutson,
Kyle David Hutson, John Matthew Kinker, Todd Curtis Kinker, and Kyle, Craig and
Jeffrey Renzelman; four grandnieces, Sandra Bloom Walker, Andrea Bloom Wells,
Andrea Marie Kinker, Bethany Jane Kinker, Kari and Amy Renzelman and Whitney
Harding; Five great-nephews, Bryan Walker, Tyler Joseph Hutson, Austin Brian
Hutson, Ian Michael Wells, and Garrett Roberts, as well as four great-nieces,
Sarah and Ashley Walker, Kelsey Wells, and Paige Roberts. The family suggests
contributions to the First Christian Church, Carrollton, or the Carrollton
Public Library. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201
S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.
The family will receive friends at the Gibson
Funeral Chapel, Carrollton, Missouri, from 12:30-1:15 p.m., on Tuesday, December
28, 2004.
Dr.
William V. Robins, 81, passed away March 21, 2005. He was born in
Kansas City, Missouri to William Paul and Marguerite Claypool Robins. After
attending Baker University, he graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry.
During WWII he served with the Army Dental Corps. In 1948 he moved to
Carrollton and practiced dentistry for more than 50 years until his retirement
in 1997. Dr. Robins is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Kay
Bauer. He leaves a son, Paul Robins, Prairie Village, Kansas.
Survivors also include his daughter, Carol Berridge, her husband, David, their
two children Ben and Kathleen of San Diego, California. Graveside services will
be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2005 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton,
Missouri. The family suggests contributions be made to the American Lung
or Cancer Associations or the charity of your choice in liew of flowers.
