Michelle Marie Uribe, age 33, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2007.  Michelle was born in Waverly, Missouri, to Kenneth L. and Jean M. (Schoeberl) Epley on March 20, 1974.  Michelle graduated from Carrollton High School and attended CMSU. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend.  On June 22, 1991 Michelle married Jason Miller in Carrollton. This union was blessed with two daughters, Paige Alex Marie and Ryane Kenna Rose.  On March 27, 1998, Michelle married Alvaro Uribe in Las Vegas, Nevada. This union was blessed with one daughter, Madison Nicole and one stepson Jacob.  Michelle is survived by Alvaro, her three daughters and stepson.  Michelle is also survived by her mother, Jean Epley and partner Darrell Dorner, her sister, Chastity Bittiker, and nieces, Lauren Bittiker and Kendin Bittiker, nephew Steven Bittiker III, Carrollton, brothers-in-law Frank Uribe (Stephanie), nephew Frankie of Carrollton, Mike Chavez, Raytown, Missouri, father-in-law Frank Uribe (Mela), State of Ohio, mother-in-law, Mary Chavez, Houston, Texas, first mother-in-law, Rosalee Miller, Carrollton, and grandfather, LaVern Schoeberl, Madison, South Dakota.  Michelle spent her life caring for others. Her years of dedicated service included working at Spring Manor Group Home and Apartments, Columbia Group Home and Five Acres Group Home.Michelle would give up her last nickel to help others in their time of need.  Michelle’s interests included writing. She was in the process of writing a book about the life of her sister.  Michelle’s children were the center of her universe. She was always cheering and supporting them in all their endeavors.  She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth L. Epley, her paternal grandmother, Dora Kathryn Epley, paternal grandfather William Epley, Uncle Bill Epley, Aunt Karen Bird, maternal grandmother Marjorie Schoeberl, first father-in-law, Raymond Miller, and grandfather=in-law, Valentine Chavez. Funeral services were held on Monday, December 24, 2007 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton. Visitation was held prior to the service. Gladys Utterback, 79, of Brunswick, Missouri died on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at the Gibson Funeral Home in Brunswick, Missouri on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating. Burial will be in the Elliott Grove Cemetery at Brunswick, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Gladys was born on January 28, 1926 at Conway County, Arkansas the daughter of John David and Martha Jane Stark Shankle. She was married to Jack Lee Utterback on November 13, 1941 at Rural Jerusalem, Arkansas. He survives her at the home. Gladys had been a Loving Mother, Grandmother and Homemaker. She was a member of the Brunswick Baptist Church. She is also survived by four daughters, Brenda Sue Taylor of Keytesville, MO, Judy Carroll Piper of Lampe, MO, Peggy Ann Cruse of Moberly, MO and Norma Lee Smith of Keytesville, MO; three sons, D.L. and Charles Lee Utterback both of Brunswick, MO and Jackie Wayne Utterback of Oak Grove, MO; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers and one granddaughter, Treasa Lynn Brown. Pallbearers will be Gary, David and Clayton Utterback, J.C. Piper, Jamie Cruse and Josh Sims. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garrett Utterback and Thomas Creel.

Glenda “Sue” Hansel Vogelsmeier ,age 61,of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 12, at her home. Sue was born April 14, 1944 in Carrollton, Missouri to Glenn and Naomi Scholle Hansel. She attended Carrollton Grade and High School. She was a Receptionist and office manager for the Carrollton Dental Clinic since 1976.  She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Carrollton, Missouri.  She is survived by her parents and two sisters, Janet Jacobs and husband Gary of Bosworth, Missouri. Patsi Miller and husband Tugger of Carrollton, Missouri; One brother Larry Hansel , a close friend Jim Hinrichs of Chillicothe, Missouri A step-daughter Janet Lea Burmeister and husband Steve of Kansas City, Missouri. Two Nieces, Two Nephews and Two Great Nieces and Four Great Nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Sandy Vogelsmeier on May 30, 1976; a great nephew Keith Wilson, and her grandparents, Carl and Anna Scholle and William and Sophia Hansel.  Funeral Services will be at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Carrollton, Missouri. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.  The family suggests Contributions be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or Help Services Cancer Fund in memory of Sue.
