Married – Zimmerman --- Abraham – AT the residence of Samuel Caldwell, Esq., of Greenwood, at 4 o’clock, Saturday evening, Sept. 1, 1877, by the Rev. A. C. Rafferty, Dr. I. M. Abraham and Miss Maud Zimmerman
It is a pleasure to record the union of two of our brightest and best.  True manhood is represented in the form of Dr. Abraham, a physician, a gentleman of infinite power in doing all that is good towards humanity at large.  The lady who has taken for future weal his hand and heart was Miss Maud Zimmerman, admired by all who knew her.  --- Harrisonville (Mo.) Amanda Wilson of Mount Pleasant Township, and William Shaply, on June 17, 1849. The certificate of marriage states ceremony was performed is signed by Geo. Dickson, J.P. This is the first marriage license issued from the county office.
