Bald Knobbers
The Osage City Free Press says: "At the term of the Christian County Missouri, circuit court, which is now in session at Ozark, Missouri, sixteen Bald Knobbers are to be tried.   There are 242 cases pending against these men.  Twenty eight are for murder, ninety five are for whippings administered to citizens, eighty-seven for unlawful assemblies, four for perjury and four for disturbing the peace.

At the same term of court Mrs. Emma Malloy is to be tried for the Graham murder, she having obtained a change of venue to that county.

In Squiro Stiff’s court this week J. C. Frazier, agent at Jerome was charged with embezzlement from the railroad company, waived examination and was in default of $300. bail was sent to jail. 
C. McCrae was also fined $1 and costs, for assaulting Tom Goodman, but the Squire says he remitted it at the request of Goodman.
