Name of Deceased: Delpha Davis

Obit: Mrs. Delpha Davis, wife of O.H. Davis, died at the family home near March on July 26, 1938, about 9:30 a.m., following an illness of nearly fourteen years. She was born about six miles west of Conway and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Rhoten, also of the March vacinity.
She was converted at the age of sixteen years. She was married October 28, 1913, to O. H. Davis. To them one son was born who died in infancy.
Those surviving are the husband, parents, three brothers, Jodie Rhoten of Cooper, Oklahoma, Johnnie and Elmer of Springfield, a sister, Mrs. Nellie Bohannon, near Willard, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.K. Ramsey of Springfield at March Assembly of God Church, followed by burial in Green Mountain Cemetery. Pall bearers were girls who had stayed with Mrs. Davis during her long illness, Mae Smith, Annie Smith, Mary Smith, Genevieve Hardison, Ona Anglin and Willa Bone. Flower girls were Jewell Malone, Lou Gann, Pauline Sweaney, Ruth Bohannon, Marie Highfill and Lottie Epperson. Burial was under direction of J. W. Klinger.

Obit: Services for Dolon B. Davison, 81, Elkland, (MO) were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Elkland Christian Church with the Rev. Neal Grubaugh officiating. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery under the direction of Barber-Edwards-Arthur of Marshfield.
Escorts were Louis Hoover, Joe Burchfield, Jackie Atkinson, Jim Jacobs, Robert Dugan and Archie Hughes Jr.
Music was by Bernadine Tracy, Rosemary Sandwell, Betty McCall with Rhonda Adamson, pianist.
Mr. Davison died about 4 p.m. Friday at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Denaine Dismang, Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Reva L. Farrar, Norwalk, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Doros Hoover, Elkland; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Name of Deceased: Sarah E. Davison

Obit: Mrs. Sarah E. Davison, 78, died at 3:00 a.m. Sunday in her home at Elkland.
Survivors include a son, Donal, of Elkland; a daughter, Mrs. Doros S. Hoover of Elkland; a half sister, Mrs. Willie Montgomery of Buffalo, MO.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Davison lived 52 years in her Elkland residence.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Elkland Christian Church with the Rev. J. E. Davison officiating. Burial was in Atteberry Shed Cemetery with Barber-Barto Funeral Home of Marshfield in charge.


Name of Deceased: Jake F. Deckard

Obit: Jake F. Deckard was born July 16, 1901 in Dallas County, Missouri, the son of Sigel and Judy Anglen Deckard. He entered into rest on April 14, at Fortuna, California. He was 77 years, eight months and 28 days of age.
On July 24, 1920 he was united in marriage with Lona Swift and this union was blessed with two daughters. Mrs. Deckard passed away on February 3, 1973. Also preceding him in death were three brothers: John, George and Clyde; and three sisters: Grace Warner, Ella McDaniel and Nell Dean.
Mr. Deckard is survived by his two daughters: Ruby Christian of Fortuna, California and Melly Craig of Whittier, California; two brothers: Joe Deckard of Santa Paula, California and Claude Deckard of Council Grove, Kansas; one sister, Mrs. Verda Richardson of Santa Paula, California: five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 19 at 1:30 p.m. in the Montgomery Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Allen Wright officiating. Music was by Vernon and Jo Ann Viets who sang "Sweet Peace, The Gift of God's Love" and "Amazing Grace." Escorts were Howard Cline, Howard Deckard, Paul Fransham, Ted Henderson, Bill Rose and Ralph Strickland. Interment was in Garden of Memory Cemetery under direction of Montgomery Funeral Home of Buffalo.


Name of Deceased: Bessie M. Dill

Obit: Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie M. Dill were held Friday, May 21, at 10:30 a.m. in Montgomery Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Mildren officiating. Music was by Vernon, Jo Ann and Patsy Viets, who sang "When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder" and "Sweet By and By." Casketbearers were Danny Dill, David Dill, Jerry Dill, Lonnie Dill, Roy Freeman, Jay Strain, Ray Strain and Leslie Dill. Interment was in the Center Point Cemetery under direction of Montgomery Funeral Home of Buffalo.
Mrs. Dill was born March 26, 1894 at Elkland, the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Richardson. She died at Cox Medical Center, May 18, at the age of 88 years, one month and 22 days.
On Aug. 28 1918, she was united in marriage with Amos Dill and this union was blessed with eight children. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Irene, who died in 1936; her husband, who died in 1961; by four brothers, Lonnie, Leonard, Jake and Floyd, and by two sisters, Ora Cowlioshaw and Florence Blankenship.
Mrs. Dill is survived by four sons: Paul and Joe of Long Lane; Burley of Fenton and Jay of St. Louis; three daughters: Ivy Freeman of Holt Summit, Mildred Wollard of Springfield and Mary Huffman.

Obit: Services were Tuesday, Feb. 1 in Montgomery-Viets Chapel with the Rev. Robert Long officiating. Burial was in Maple Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
Paul E. Dill, 82, died Jan. 30, 2005 at his home in Long Lane.
He was a retired farmer, Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Center Point Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dollie: one daughter, Bonnie and husband, Gary Rice, Buffalo; three granddaughters: Teresa Mitchell, Amanda Sanders and Rhonda Zentner: four great grandchildren: three brothers: Burley Dill, Fenton; Joe Dill, Buffalo, and Jay Dill, St. Louis; three sisters: Ivy Freeman, St. Louis, Mildred Wollard, Springfield and Mary Hoffman.
