Obit: Mary Frances Hill, daughter of Washington and Nancy Hill was born April 30, 1881, 8 1/2 miles southeast of Buffalo, and departed this life July 1, 1954 at the home of her daughter at the age of 73 years and 2 months.
January 5, 1905 she was united in marriage to William F. Triplett. To this union 9 children were born Gilbert and Dorris preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, William F. Triplett of Long Lane, Mo., 6 sons and 1 daughter, Oral and Arbra of Springfield, Forrest of Buffalo, Fred of Blue Springs, Mo., George A. of Jones, Okla., Oris of Spokane, Washington, and Marie McGinnis of Elkland, Mo. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alta Blankenship of Springfield and Mrs. Tlina Gaunt of Long Lane, Mo., also 23 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and host of relatives and friends.
She professed a hope in Christ when young and lived a faithful Christian until the end. She was a faithful wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. She lived a life of service and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services were held at Liberty church Saturday, July 3, 1954 at 10:30 a.m. with Lena House and Virgina Shockley officiating. Interment followed in Liberty cemetery under direction of Montgomery Funeral Home of Buffalo, Mo.

Obit: William Frederick, son of John and Sarah Triplett was born February 27, 1869 at Long Lane, Missouri and departed this life at the family home at Long Lane, October 22, 1958 at the age of 89 years, 7 months, and 25 days.
He was the youngest child of a family of 14 children.
He was united in marriage to Mary Frances Hill January 5, 1905.
To this union were born nine children: Gilbert who preceded him in death at the age of 8 years; Oral of Springfield; Forrest of Buffalo; Dorris who passed away December 2, 1950; Arbra of Springfield; Marie McGinnis, Elkland; Fred of the home at Long Lane; George A., Jones, Oklahoma; and Oris of Spokane, Washington. His wife preceded him in death July 1, 1954. A great grandson, Randall Lee Carden passed away October 18, 1954. In addition to the above his survivors include 24 children; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
W. F. is the last of a large family that has lived in Cheek school district since before the Civil War. He spent his entire life there except for a short interval at 2 or 3 different times in life.
Funeral services were held Saturday October 23, 1958 at 2:00 p. m. in the Liberty church with Rev. H. E. Marshall officiating. Interment was in the Liberty cemetery under direction of the Montgomery Funeral Home of Buffalo.
