DAVE BRYDON, 76

D. T. “Dave” Brydon, 76 long time and well known farmer of the Arbyd community, who had been ill for sometime, and had been a patient at the Dunklin Memorial Hospital
for the past several days , died Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at 2: 30 o’clock today (Tuesday) at the Baptist Church in Arbyrd with the Rev. L. G. Scott conducting the services.
Burial will be in Lulu Cemetery. Howard service.
Mr. Brydon had been suffering from diabetes for many months and only last week, when his condition became most critical, one of his legs was amputated in a desperate effort to save his life. He had been in a coma for several days prior to his death.
A resident of Dunklin County for more than 50 years, “Uncle Dave” had been an influential resident of the Arbyrd community for most of that time. He was a man who was active church work and was known foe his charitable qualities. He was born in Indiana.
Mr. Brydon is survived by three daughters, Mrs. lily Huggins, Mrs. Mable Huggins and Mrs. Bertha Riley, all of Arbyrd. He is also survived by two brothers, H. H. Brydon of Kennett and W. T. of Arbyrd.
