Mr. William Remiert
Second Creek, Gasconade, MO.
Mr. William Remiert residing near second creek, has for some time been very sick with typhoid fever and on the 17th became delirious, and his friends having been wearied with watching him he somehow managed to get out of the room.  His absence was almost immediately noticed and search made in vain. Soon after daylight the missing man was found in the well, dead.  It is supposed that he went directly from his bed to the well and jumped in.  The deceased leaves a wife and two small children to mourn his loss.
