Former Minister Found Dead - Bullet in Head
Springfield, Mo., Nov. 11 - His head pierced by a pistol bullet, W. V. Rook, 55, buyer for the Hobert Lee Tie Company of Springfield and formerly a minister at Conway, Mo., was found dead at 11 o'clock this morning beneath a Frisco railway trestle near Highway 13, between Fairplay and Dunhegan in Polk County.
Polk County officials this afternoon were attempting to untangle the mystery of his death and Coroner K. B. Hutcheson of Bolivar seemed convinced that murder and not suicide will prove the answer.
The body was discovered by Fred Harmon, farmer.
