D.C. Young Dead.(David C. Young)Formerly Lived in Arkansas City.
D.C. Young, who, about ten years ago, was connected with the Traveler, died at Springfield, Mo., on Thursday of this week. He came here from Wellington after disposing of his interest in the Standard, a newspaper which he established. From here he went to Springfield and was employed for some time as foreman of the Daily Republican. He worked in St. Louis awhile and then went back to Springfield, where he started a job printing shop of his own which he has been running for the past eight years.
He leaves a wife and two sons, Charles and Cleaver. The boys are twins and 21 years of age. One of them is foreman of a Springfield newspaper composing room, and the other is head man in his father's job shop.
The deceased was 51 years of age. The cause of his death was erysipelas.
