According to the obituary of Susan (Eisenbarger) Funk
the family removed itself to Wayne County, Indiana in 1852. It appears
that this family moved to Harrison County, Missouri sometime after August
19,1860. I arrive at that date because the youngest son Adam is listed as having
been born August 19, 1860 in Terrytown, Indiana. We do know that the 1870 Census
list Martin and Martha Eissenberger(sp) in Harrison County, Missouri along with
some of their children. We also note that the spelling of the name
Eisenbarger in the Pennsylvania census is [Isenberger]. This could
have been just a census takers error.
Henry is believed
to have stayed in Pennsylvania when his parents headed west.
