Lot H. Skinner was born
December 8, 1817, in Perry Co. Ohio,
the son of Samuel B. Skinner and
Elizabeth (Betsy) Hazelton Skinner.
Lot Skinners first wife was Martha Jane Wilson.
They were the parents of seven children:
Martha Jane (Wilson) Skinner died in 1863Lot married
Sarah Lavinna Holiday Davis on January 18, 1866 in Montgomery Co.
Soon after his first marriage to Martha Lot
moved to White Co. Indiana where he
lived until 1858 or 1859, he then
moved to Salem, Dent Co. Mo and remained there until 1861 when he
forced to leave to prevent being forced into the Rebel Army. He lost all
that he had and barely escaped with his family. He then went to McDonough
Co. Illinois and in 1866 moved to Harrison County, MO. where he remained
for the rest of his life.
Sarah Lavinna Holiday was born May 24,
Lot and Sarah were the parents of four
Lot Skinner died April 24, 1885 and Sarah Skinner died
August 29, 1925.Lot Skinner and Sarah Lavinna Holiday
Davis Skinner are buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Eagleville,
