Lot H. Skinner was born December 8, 1817, in Perry Co. Ohio,
the son of Samuel B. Skinner and Elizabeth (Betsy) Hazelton Skinner.

Lot Skinners first wife was Martha Jane Wilson.
They were the parents of seven children:

Martha Jane (Wilson) Skinner died in 1863
in McDonough Co. Illimois



Soon after his first marriage to Martha Lot moved to White Co. Indiana where he
lived until 1858 or 1859, he then moved to Salem, Dent Co. Mo and remained there until 1861 when he
was forced to leave to prevent being forced into the Rebel Army. He lost all that he had and barely escaped with his family. He then went to McDonough Co. Illinois and in 1866 moved to Harrison County, MO. where he remained for the rest of his life.



Lot married Sarah Lavinna Holiday Davis on January 18, 1866 in Montgomery Co. Illinois.
Sarah Lavinna Holiday was born May 24, 1833

Lot and Sarah were the parents of four children:

Lot Skinner and Sarah Lavinna Holiday Davis Skinner are buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Eagleville, Mo.

Samuel Hazelton Burr Skinner married Bertha Viola Mathes on March 22, 1900.

Bertha Viola Mathes was born August 11, 1880, the daughter of Thomas Atwood Mathes and Elizabeth S. (Hobbs) Mathes.
Bertha died on November 27, 1965 and is buried in the Hobbs Cemetery
