Henry Balls

    I, Henry Balls,, of the County of Harrison in the State of Missouri do make and publish this my last will and testatment.

       1.    I give and bequeath to my son John Balls, Five Dollars.

       2.    I give and bequeath to my daughter Isabella Haley, Five Dollars.

       3.    I give and bequeath unto my son William Balls, Five Dollars.

       4.    I give and bequeath unto my grand-daughter, Sarah Jane Tippat, Five dollars.

      5.    I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas C. Balls, Five Dollars.  I further give and bequeath to my wife Martha Melissa Balls (after payment of all my just debts) all the rest, residue and remainder of my personal estate and also all of my real estate during her life time.  After her death I give and devise said real estate equally unto John Ball, Isabella Haley, William Balls and Thomas C. Balls, to have and to hold to them and their heirs and assigns forever.

  I hereby appoint my wife, Martha Malissa Balls my sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

  In Witness thereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 13th day of July, A.D., 1875.

Further;
We do not find among the files in the Probate  office of said County the affidavit of proof of publication of notice of issue of letters testamentary, but on November 16, 1877 was filed in said Court the affidavit of Publication of notice of Final Settlement of said estate wherein is shown that same was published for four consecutive weeks in the Bethany Republican, a newspaper printed and published in said County, beginning with the issue of October 11, 1877 and ending with the issue of November 1, 1877.

Final Settlement of said estae was made November 16, 1877 and shows payment of all allowed claims.

ELIZABETH BARLOW


I, Elizabeth Barlow, of Bethany, County of Harrison, State of Missouri, aged Seventy-Two years, October 16th, 1932, being of sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

First- I direct that my funeral expenses and the expensed of my last illness be paid from United States bonds, or other bonds owned by me at the time of my death and held by the Bethany Trust Company, Bethany, Missouri.

Second- I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Mabel Kautz, and to the heirs of her body the following real estate in the City of Bethany, Harrison County, Missouri, viz-

The north west fourth of Lot Eleven (11) Schnatterly's Second Additon to the City of Bethany, Missouri, on which is located my home and residence.

All of Lot Twelve (12) in Schnatterly's Second Additon to the City of Bethany, Missouri.

Also Twenty six (26) feet off of the west side of Lot Four (4) in Block Two (92) of the First Survey of the City of Bethany, Missouri described as follows- Commencing at the southwest corner of the said above described Lot Four (4) thence east Twenty six (26) feet, thence north ninety three (93) feet to the north line of said Lot Four (4) thence west twenty six (26) feet, thence south ninety three (93) feet to the place of begininning, which I last described lot is leased to the Continental Oil company.

To have and to hold all of the above described real estaste to the said Mabel Kautz and the heirs of her body absolutely forever.

All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, whatsoever real, personal and mixed, and wherever situated, I give devise and bequeath to my beloved daughter Mabel Kautz, and to her heirs to have and to hold to them absolutely forever.

I do hereby appoint my daughter, Mabel Kautz, Executrix of this my last will and testament, and request and direct, that she be not rquired to give any bond in administering my estate.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 16th day of February, 1933.

HENRY BENNETT


I, Henry Bennett, of sound mind and memory revoking all former wills do hereby make my last will and testament.

It is my will that at my death out of my estate there shall be paid all my just debts and funeral expenses.

I give and devise to my daughter Mary Ann Grant the sum of Two Hundred dollars all the rest, residue and remainder real, personal and mixed I give, devise and bequeath to my wife Sarah Bennett her life time and at the death of my wife Sarah Bennett I give and devise to my daughter Caroline Thompson the sum of ten dollars and to my granddaughter Alice Chenny the sum of one dollar and all the rest, residue and remainder real, personal and mixed I give, devise and bequeath to be be equally divided between my sons Milton Bennett, Chancy Bennett and my daughter Mary Ann Grant.

I hereby appoint my son Chancy Bennett to execute the provisions of the will and for the purpose of paying debts and legacysand carrying out theprovisions of this will.  He is hereby approved executor of my will.

Be it remembered that on this the 18th day of May A.D. 1886 before me J.R. Cunningham Judge of the Probate Court held in and for the county and State aforesaid personally appeared N.N. Stoughton and George M. Prather who are the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of Henry Bennett deceased, and being by me first duly sworn depose and say that the said Henry Bennett the testator subscribed the same in their presence and published and declared said will an instrument of writing to be his last will and testament and that at the time of signing the same he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than Twenty one years of age and that said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto by subscribing their names to the same in the presence of the testator and of each other and at the request of the said testator.

Cunningham Judge of the Probate Court of Harrison County State of Missouri having examined the foregoing instrument purporting to be the last will of Henry Bennett deceased, and signed by Henry Bennett and having heard the testimony of George M. Prather and N.N. Stoughton subscribing witnesses therto in relation to the execution of the same do declare and adjudge said insturment to the last will and testament of the said Henry Bennett, deceased late of Harrison County, Missouri.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court at office in Bethany this 18th day of May 1886.
