Final Rites Held
Sunday Afternoon
Funeral services for Noah Wyatt Wright, 80, of Pottersville Rt, West Plains, who died at 8:20 Saturday morning at Christa Hogan Hospital, were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the Spring Creek Methodist Church with the Rev. James Sharp and the Rev. R.R. DeBoard officiating.

Will Meet You In the Morning."Pallbearers were John Roberson, Dave Roberson,
Hershel Parrett, Arch Pentecost,
Roy Clark and John Rogers. Mr. Wright was born near Pottersville Nov. 26, 1877
to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis Martin Wright. He made his home his entire life
in the Blue Mound Community near Pottersville on the same farm on which he was
born. He was a livestock dealer and was engaged in farming. He always took an
active interest in the affairs of his community. He was a member of the
congregational Methodist Church for 63 years having his membership in the Spring
Creek Methodist Church. It was through his untiring efforts, the Spring Creek
Church was organized which is now
active in the Blue Mound Community.
He married Rhoda Agnes Breedlove, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John Breedlove,
February 7, 1905 at Pottersville. She died in May 1937.
On July 5, 1945, he married Mrs. Naomi Shelley, who survives as do three step
sons, Earl Shelley, and Sam Shelley, Independence, Paul Shelley, West Plains; a
step daughter, Bessie Teft, Kansas City;
and a brother Luther Wright, Pottersville.
Four brothers and four sisters preceded in death.
Burial was in Blue Mound Cemetery under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home.

A lifelong resident of Howell County, John O. Nolte, 53, of Mountain View
died yesterday morning at 5:30 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Paul
McBride at Mountain View.
He had been confined to his bed for the past eight months, and had been ill for
two years.
Funeral services are to be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Dripping Springs
Church, conducted by Rev. Earl Thompson of Peace Valley. Burial is to be in the
Dripping Springs Cemetery.
The body will remain at the Duncan Funeral Home until time for the services.
Born Jan. 15, 1901 in Howell County, Mr. Nolte was the son of A. L. Note of
Route 3, West Plains and the last Mrs. A. L. Nolte.
He had made his home near West Plains and Mountain View most of his life.
Surviving him besides his father are three children, Mrs. Paul McBride, Mrs. W.
M. McVickers and John D. Nolte; four sisters, Mrs. Sam Nelson, Mrs. Wilburn
Coble, both of Route 2, West Plains,
Mrs. Ella Carter of West Plains, Mrs. Charley Brown of Rover and a brother,
Victor A. Nolte of Oakland, Calif.

George Walter Green, the son of the late Esco and Emma Hall Green, was born
February 7, 1932 at Cabool, Missouri. He entered into eternal rest September 4,
2001 at the age of sixty-nine years. On June 30, 1956, Mr. Green was married at
West Plains, Missouri to Larae Smith. Before his retirement, Mr. Green was
employed at Amyx as a lumber grader and mill worker. He loved hunting,
traveling, the outdoors and was a lifelong fan of the Cardinals. Mr. Green
enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and was a loving husband and father.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Larae Green of the family home; three
children Colleen Adams and husband Mark, Willow Springs, Missouri, Patricia
Coble and husband, Danny, West Plains, Missouri and George Ray Green, West
Plains, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Teresa Green, West Plains, Missouri; eight
grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four brothers, Joe Green, David Green
and Henry Green, all of West Plains, Missouri and Bill Green, Potosi, Missouri;
two sisters, Helen Wood and Marie Johnson, both of West Plains, Missouri and
several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents,
five brothers, Ivan, Cecil, Ben and two who died as infants, two sisters,
Nanaette and one who died as an infant. Mr. Green was a member of the Church of
God. Memorial service Friday, September 7, 2001 1 p.m. Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago
