Fred Jenkins born Nov. 9, 1898 Died August 30, 1967.
He was united in marriage to Vera Fullerton, May 30, 1925, at West Plains, Mo.
To this union was born 7 children, the eldest son preceded him in death.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View, Mo.
He was laid to rest in the Center Hill Cemetery Sept. 2, 1967. Services conducted by Rev. Roe Beard of Muskogee, Okla., and Rev. Coy Statler.
Pallbearers were John Ritchey DeBoard, Warren DeBoard, Wayne DeBoard, Floyd Deaton, Charles Heriford, Wesley Koonce.
Survivors are the wife of the home, Vera Jenkins, JoAnn Underhill, Mary Hires, Jim Jenkins, Bill Jenkins, Julie Price, John Jenkins and 20 grandchildren.

Mr. Garold D. Jones
   Mr. Garold D. Jones, age 77, of West Plains, a retired truck driver and U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, died Saturday evening in Ozark Medical Center, West Plains.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Pomona Christian Church with burial in Howell Memorial Park, Pomona, under the direction of Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home, Cabool. Friends may call this afternoon in the funeral home.

Funeral services for Ellen Johnson, 80, Alton, were at 4 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church, Alton, with the Rev. Robert L. Wiggs officiating.
Mrs. Johnson died at 2:45 p.m. Friday in Ozarks Medical Center.  She was born Aug. 18, 1905, at Couch, the daughter of the late Kenny A. and Laura Norman Boze.
She was married Jan. 26, 1929, at Alton to Charlie Johnson, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alton.
Survivors two sons, Wendell Johnson, Alton, and Leo Johnson, LaMonte; one daughter, Hazel Barton, Port Saint Joe, Fla.; two sisters, Lucy Bates and Maude Harper, Alton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
Burial was in Smith Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home Inc., Thayer.

Mrs. Rebecca Alexa Johnson of 131 College St., died last night in Christa Hogan Hospital where she had been a patient since last Sunday.
Mrs. Johnson was the wife of A. B. Johnson and a daughter of the late Joseph and Linda Cook of this county.  She was born in Howell County, Sept. 30, 66 years ago and has spent her entire life in and near West Plains with the exception of a short time spent at Greenville, MO.
On January 14, 1906, Mrs. Johnson was married to A. B. Johnson who survives her as do seven sons and daughters; Chester of Grandview, MO, Harold of Dexter, Oreg., Eldon of Ashland, Oreg., Stanley of Oak Ridge, Oreg., Ruth Ellison and Syble Morgan of West Plains and Helen Sullivan of Oregon.  Two sons and two daughters preceded their mother in death.  Two brothers and one sister preceded Mrs. Johnson in death. There are 26 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Johnson has been in frail health for the past several months and bedfast for the past 60 days.  She recently underwent treatment at Ellis-Fischel Hospital at Columbia.
Mrs. Johnson has been a member of the Baptist Church since early womanhood, having membership in the Second Baptist Church for the last eight years.

Funeral services for Riley Johnson, 81, West Plains, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
Mr. Johnson died at 12:14 p.m. Wednesday in Ozarks Medical Center. He was born April 6, 1904, in Howell County, the son of the late John Wesley and Electa Emaline Reyer Johnson.
He received his education in the Greenwood School in Howell County, and on April 3, 1929, he was married at West Plains to Elizabeth Jackson.  He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Johnson, West Plains; two sisters, Hattie Aborn and Sally Parker, both of West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters.
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
