James Dailey, the
well known Union avenue boiler maker, died suddenly at
his late residence, 713 Forest avenue, at an early hour
this morning of heart disease. He retired last night as
usual, but about 3 o'clock this morning his wife was
awakened by his heavy breathing, and a few minutes later
he died in her arms. He was 43 years of age and came to
Kansas City to locate ten years ago. He was in good
circumstances, owning considerable real estate besides
his boiler making establishment. He relatives reside at
Providence and Fall River, Mass., and they have been
notified of his death. He was a member of the Knights
of Pythias. The funeral will take place Sunday and the
remains will be interred at Mount St. Mary's cemetery.

The remains of the
late Major Dargon, who died at the Grand Missouri hotel
yesterday, will be placed in a vault at Union cemetery
and later may be shipped to his former home in the
South.

Mrs. Martha J.
Dignan, aged 36 years, died at the family residence,
Twenty first and Vine streets, yesterday of Bright's
disease of the kidneys. The funeral takes place this
afternoon.

Mrs. Dora J. Donelson, 84, of 400 Norton died
Friday at the home. She was born in Nebraska and had lived in Kansas City, MO
nearly 30 years. She was a member of the Central Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are two sons, James Donelson, Englewood, CO and John Donelson of Rapid
City, SD; four daughters: Mrs. Ammel Barnett, Princeton, MO; Mrs. Mildred Groom,
Independence, MO, Mrs Ella M. Tyer, Kansas City MO and Mrs. Ann Chambers of the
home; two brothers, Levi Rhoades and Homer Rhoades of Galt, MO; 34
grandchildren, 81 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Services
were held at Blackman Guardian Chapel with burial in Union Cemetery. [submitted
