Anna Long
BEARDSTOWN - Anna M. Long, 57, of Beardstown died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
  Born Feb. 18, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo., to Jessie H. and Armissie Virgie Mae Huffman Piper, she married Willard Dyer in 1964. She then
married Gary Wilson on March 25, 1970. She later married Sanford Long in 1983. All three husbands preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by her father.
Surviving are her mother, Virgie Braind of Bedford, N.H.; one son, David (and Peggy) Dyer of Beardstown; one daughter, Serena Wilson of
Beardstown; one brother, Gale Piper of Missouri; two sisters, Dollie Schackleford of Monument, Kan., and June Cressey of Plymouth, Ind.;
several half brothers and half sisters; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sager Funeral Home.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Burial will be in Beardstown City Cemetery.

   RUSHVILLE - E. Marie Lawler, 92, of 368 S. Liberty died at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 1995, at the home of her daughter in Oregon, Ill.
   Born Sept. 9, 1903, in Kansas City, Mo., to John L. and Nellie Lawler Barton, she married F. Eugene Lawler in 1934 in Rushville. He died in 1950.
   Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Betty) Pazera of Oregon; and one grandson, Ronald.   She was a retired Rushville High School teacher.
   She was a member of PEO Sisterhood Chapter AL. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Rushville City Cemetery. The Rev. Jack
Volkers will officiate. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville.
   Memorials may be given to the Schuyler Jail Museum and Genealogical  Center or to the First Presbyterian Church of Rushville.
