Obit: Milo C. Jackson, 90, Carthage, Mo., passed away Friday, April 11, 2008, in St. Luke's Nursing Center, Carthage. Mr. Jackson was born July 5, 1917, in Carthage, the son of Ora Jackson and Dora (Hood) Jackson. Milo was a graduate of  Carthage Senior High School, class of 1937. He married Josephine M. Williams on Dec. 6, 1941, in Webb City, Mo. She preceded him in death on June 19, 2002. Mr. Jackson was a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1925, a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge, Carthage, Kiwanis International, Carthage, and was one of the charter members of the Carthage Sportsman League that was responsible for the development of Kellogg Lake. Mr. Jackson served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a pilot. He operated M.C. Jackson Printing from 1939 until his retirement in 1987. Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn Oldham and husband, Bud, Boerne, Texas, and Kathleen Davis and husband, Donald, Carthage; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine; one sister; and three brothers. Visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, in the First United Methodist Church, Carthage, followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. Memorial gifts are suggested to Trinity Hospice or St. Luke's Nursing Center in care of Knell Mortuary, Carthage
