Okle Kreps
Macomb - Okle F. Kreps, 90, of Pinole, Calif., formerly of
McDonough County, died Saturday morning, Nov. 9, 1991, at her residence.
Born Oct. 26, 1901, in Canton, Mo., to the Rev. Franklin and Effie Belle Newell Leonard, she married Ralph E. Kreps on Sept. 21, 1929.
He died Jan. 22, 1978. She is survived by one son, Dr. Eugene of Larksper,
>Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Laws of Moline and
Mrs. Theodore (Marlene) Geheb of Birmingham, Mich.; five sisters, Frances Keithley of Macomb, Virginia Munson of Glen Ellyn, Lucille Hill of
Monmouth, Mary Carty of Raymore, Mo., and Margaret Morrow of Point Benicia, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She and her husband were World Book Encyclopedia representatives
for many years.
She was a member of Christian Church in Richmond, Calif.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sargent-Worthington Funeral Home in Macomb, the Revs. Everett Munson and James Stovall officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Colchester.
