Everett Tripp

La Belle, Mo. - Everett Tripp, 78, of La Belle, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday (March 10, 1980) in his home.

He was born southwest of Colony, Mo., on Dec. 26, 1901, a son to William and Mary Fox Tripp. He married Wilda Kessler in Edina, Mo., on Dec. 26. 1922.

Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Vance (Nelda) Morrow of La Belle, Mrs. James (Wanda) Sodon of St. Louis, and Mrs. Roger G. (Kathryn) Buss of Clayton, a son Robert of St. Louis, five brothers, Lloyd of Knox City, Mo., Fred of Memphis, Mo., William of Peoria, Ernest of Kahoka, Mo., and Ralph of Quincy, two sisters, Mrs. Everett (Reta) Harris of Quincy, and Mrs. Carl (Dema) Schaller of Fowler, 15 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

He was a retired farmer in Lewis County and a member of La Belle Baptist Church.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Coder Funeral Chapel in La Belle, conducted by the Rev. Floyd Hamilton and assisted by the Rev. Ernest Deatrick. Burial will be in Deer Ridge Cemetery north of La Belle.
