Mrs. Ann Teasley dies. Our community
was saddened last Friday at the news of the death of Mrs. Ann Teasley, who died
after several weeks illness,
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray of Granite City, Illinois.
Mrs. Teasley leaves, besides her daughter,
one son, Alton Barnes, one grandson: Marvin Barnes of Granite City; two brothers
Jonah M. and H.B. Raney
also of that city; and two sisters, Misses Alice and Belle Raney of Briscoe, and
many nephews and nieces of which this writer is one.
Funeral services were held at Old Alex. Methodist Church Sunday afternoon and burial was in cemetery adjoining. Six of her nephews, Clem, Olga, Hubert, Bonnie Raney, Jude Teasley and Walter Raney acted as pall bearers.
