Confederate Dead

 

The list this week gives the names of those of the Sixth Missouri Infantry, Confederate Volunteers,

Company I and Company K, inclusive, and the field and staff officers and Company's A, B. and

C, First Missouri Confederate Cavalry, who met death during the late Civil War.

 

If the omission of any names from hitherto published mortality list of the First, Second, Third,

Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Missouri Infantry regiments have been noticed by either relatives or friends, they will please send full information concerning those overlooked to the Ex-Confederate Historical and Benovolent Association of St. Louis, Missouri.

 

For the benefit of those making inquiries and corrections to the Ex-Confederate mortality list as published, the Ex-Confederate Historical and Benevolent Association will publish a list of all those who have been omitted, and corrections made after all infantry, cavalry and artillery lists have been published.

 

The Ex-Confederate Historical and Benevolent Association of St. Louis is compiling a complete roster of all those who were in the Confederate Army from Missouri, either Missouri regiments or other branches of the Confederate service, and request all such old soldiers either in this city or other parts of the state to send their names to the assiciation in  St. Louis Sixth Missouri Infrantry concluded..
