I am tracing my great grandfather who lived in New Madrid with his mother and two brothers.
They were own by a slaveholder by the name of Franklin in 1848. He was sold from his mother to a slaveholder by the surname of Robinson.
Robinson owned and trained walking horses and would come to Turner , Arkansas to sell them. My great Grandfather was John Wesley Robinson.
Do you know of any farmers or slaveholders by the name of Franklin or Robinsons between 1848 and 1870.
