Under the picture of the Wright sisters it says,
" Pictured above this is the full page layout of Alton sisters Bette and
Beverly in the March 1984 issue of Good Housekeeping magazine."
Under the "before" picture in the corner it says, "Twins Bette
(left) and Beverly each wanted her own distinctive look–but neither
wanted to cut her long-straight hair.
We gave them new hairdos they loved without tampering with hair
length!"
Under the "new look" picture it says: "Bette Fox, once a model, now
a mother of three, wanted a sophisticated new hairdo for special
evenings out. We brushed her bangs to one side to show off her face,
gave her this softly draped upsweep, a dramatic nighttime makeup
too. Her twin sister, Beverly Wright Rylee, runs her own business.
Her style is sporty, casual. She wanted a hairdo similar to the one
she had but more contemporary, easier to handle–one she could
"brush" with her fingers and forget. We layered just the ends of her
hair to add volume, thinned the bangs, so now just a touch of a
curling iron–and some subtle new slate-green eye makeup–gives her a
fabulous new look.
