DAVID GEORGE CLOVEN

Alton, MO.--DAVID GEORGE CLOVEN, son of the late
Christopher C. Cloven and Mary Johnson Cloven, was born February 10, 1920 in
Alton, MO and died June 24, 1998 in Columbia, MO at the age of 78 years,
four months and 14 days.
Mr. Cloven was united in marriage April 27, 1940
in Alton, MO to Edna Bates.
Survivors include his wife, Edna of Mexico, MO;
four sons, David E. Cloven, George E. Cloven, Eddie C. Cloven and Larry D.
Cloven, all of Mexico, MO; one sister, Blanche Burkhead of Alton, MO; seven
grandchildren, Cheryl Blair, Teresa Hays, Christopher Cloven all of Mexico,
MO; Cynthia Beasley of Jefferson City, MO, Wesley Cloven of Columbia; Larry
Cloven, Jr. and Randy Cloven, both of Kansas City; and eight
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three
brothers, Millard, Brents and Elzea Cloven; and two sisters, Emmerita Cross
and Naomi Wrissinger.
He was of the Free Will Baptist faith and was an
auto mechanic.
Funeral services for David George Cloven of
Mexico, MO were held Saturday, June 27, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter
Funeral Home Chapel, Thayer, MO with Reverend Wayne Cloven officiating.
Interment was in the Cave Springs Cemetery, Alton, MO under the direction of
the Carter Funeral Home, Inc., Thayer, MO.
