 Melinda Jane Kellett, 81, was born October 25, 1882, in Oregon County, Missouri; died May 13, 1964, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Mary Iwan, Thayer, Missouri.
 On November 24, 1920, she was married to C.C. (Lum) Kellett at Alton, Missouri.
 She is survived by two step-sons, Claude Kellett, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Theodore Kellett, Corning, Arkansas; two step-daughters, Ruby Beatty, West Plains, Missouri;
Edna Huddleston, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Mrs Mary Iwan, Thayer, Missouri, Route 1; two brothers Oscar Webber, Keytesville, Missouri; Edgar Webber,
East St.Louis, Illinois.
 Services were held May 16 at the Jeff Church of Christ with Bro. Boyd Morgan officiating.
Burial was in Thayer Cemetery under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
