OSCAR S. WEBBER, son of the late John Webber and Mahalia Boykin Webber, was born October 25, 1882 at Alton, Missouri and departed this life August 25, 1980
at the Houston County Hospital at Warner Robins, Georgia, at the age of 97 years and 10months.
 He was united in marriage to Irene Taylor who preceded him in death in 1913.Later he was united in marriage to Nora Davis who preceded him in death in 1960.
His parents, four children, six brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death. He is survived by four sons, Cliff Webber, of New Glarus, Wisconsin, Lynn
Webber of Keytesville, Missouri, Lehmon Webber of Cleveland, Ohio and Billy Webber of Warner Robins, Georgia; one daughter Lois Jobe of Van Nuys,
California; twenty-one grandchildren; fifty-two great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. He was of the Church of Christ Faith.

Alton, Mo--ARTELIA "TILLIE" MAGGIE WHEELER–

Tille Wheeler, Albuquerque, N.M., and formerly of Alton, daughter of John Paris and Clara May Nickless Wheeler, was born February 21, 1917 in Alton
and departed this life at 5:30 pm on Friday, August 28, 1998 at Prebyterian Hospital, Alburquerque, N. M at the age of 81 years, six months, seven days.

Miss Wheeler was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one brother, Hansel Wheeler, Panama City, FL; one sister, Bernice McGuire, Ogden, UT; a special niece, Clara Jo Case, Thayer, Mo;
and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rose Farmer and Sadie Wheeler; and two brothers, J. P. Wheeler and Carl Wheeler.

Graveside services for Tillie Wheeler were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 1998 at Cave Springs Cemetery in Alton, with the Rev. Michael Parrott officiating,
under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer. –Oregon County Times, Sep 10, 1998.
