DIED

At her residence, in this county, on the 15th of January, Mrs. Nannie Cheatham, wife of E. O. Cheatham, in the 63d year of her age.

She was born in Henderson county, Kentucky; has lived in Missouri about twenty years. Her health has been gradually failing for a year past, the last few weeks she seemed to realize that her stay on earth would be short; feeling no fear of her own future she only regretted leaving those whom she do devotedly loved.

Never having had any children of her own, nieces, nephews and others have found her a mother indeed. A devoted husband, sister, many relatives and friends bow in humble submission, as 'tis God's will and would not call her back to suffer longer in this world, knowing she is in the enjoyment of that perfect rest which remains for the people of God. - Marian
