- Charles M. Johnston, Treasurer of Platte County, has tendered his resignation to the County Clerk. Upon investigation it was learned that he had changed the denomination of two school warrants
one of $2 to $12, the other $9. to $19.. He confessed his guilt. His bondsman, will make all shortage good to the county.
