"The Happy family cemetery is locted on the seven acres in south Hardin now known as Glendale addition. Glen
and Glenda (Leuders) Hogan purchased this property in 1960. Their abstract shows that this land was deeded from
the United States to William Hughes on January 1, 1821. The Deed of Patent was dated April 15, 1822 but not recorded
until June 12, 1914.
The first mention of the Happy graveyard in the abstract was on december 7, 1868 s this property changed ownership. The description was SW 1/4 of Sec 33 T 52 and Range 26. The land for the town of Hardin was purchased from Havey Happy and wife."
