Hiram Page was one of the Eight Witnesses of the Book of Mormon's Golden Plates.
His grave site has gone unmarked, until Frank and Kathy Hamer, who own the land, became interested in Hiram Page's history. The land was once owned by Hiram Page which Hiram bought and settled on after 1838.
This lead to the Hamer's contacting the Missouri Mormon Frontier Foundation and it was discovered
that Hiram Page was buried on the Hamer property. A monument was erected in 2001 by the Missouri Mormon Frontier
Foundation.
