L.S. notes: Though the transcription of this cemetery does list any White's buried in this cemetery, it is probably called White Cemetery because, according to the 1877 Ray County Atlas, Whtie's owned the land.

The cemetery is in a grove of tree's, unfenced and cattle are free to roam through it. The transcription by Harold & Belle Barchers and Alfred McKemy in 1989 states "A house and barn were nearby until a few years ago."
