Springfield, IL--EFFIE MARIE LAUCK, 74, of Chaffee, Mo., formerly of Springfield, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born Oct. 13, 1913, at Sikeston, Mo., the daughter of Gurley
and Lina Cohoon. She married Marcus Lauck in 1937. A resident of
Springfield from 1957 to 1978, Mrs. Lauck formerly was employed by the
Great State Life Insurance Co. in Springfield and the Illinois
Department of Public Aid.
In addition to her husband, surviving are two children, Martha Wetekamp
of Freeport and Vincent Lauck of St. James, Mo.; six grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Cohoon of Springfield,
Mo., and Roberta Morgan of Steele, Mo.; and one brother, John Cohoon of
North Highlands, Calif.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in
Chaffee, Mo. Burial will be in Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee, Mo., is in charge of
arrangements.

Tampa, FL--GEORGIA LEE MILLER LAWRENCE, a
resident of Tampa since 1979, died December 8, 2007. She was born April
22, 1913, in Scott County, Mo., the daughter of Henry David and Laura
Anna Koch Miller. Her husband, John Thanet Lawrence, preceded her in
death. She is survived by her sons, Addison Lee Lawrence and John
Miller Lawrence; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Chaffee, MO--FLOY LITZELFELNER, 89, of
St. Ann, MO, formerly of Chaffee, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 at
Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. She was born June
20, 1918 in Oran, MO, daughter of Harvey "Hub" and Agnes Stone Malone.
She and Wilbur Litzelfelner were married Dec. 20, 1935. He
died March 5, 1981.
Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Seiler of St. Ann; four
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded by a
son, a brother and three sisters.
The funeral was Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel
in Chaffee, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating. Burial was in
Union Park Cemetery.
Essexville, MI-- MARY
FRANCES (NEWTON) LOCKARD- Formerly of Essexville, MI.
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001 in
East Lansing, MI. Mary was born October 23, 1918 in Scott County, MO.
She married Martin Lockard on October 25, 1941. Mary attended General
Motors Institute and was employed by the Fisher Body Division in Flint,
MI. During WWII, she left to work as a buyer for the U.S. Corps of
Engineers in San Francisco, requisitioning materiel for the Pacific
Theater. She was a professional secretary as well as an accountant and
worked for many corporations and government agencies. She returned to
the Tri-City area and lived there from 1955 until 1998. She worked
side-by-side with her husband, Martin, at United Welders, Inc. in
Essexville, MI. Her survivors are: son, Robert Lockard; daughters,
Dianne Engelhardt and husband, Emmons, Linda Fortin and her children
William, Robert and Michael, Judith Matthews and her husband, Richard
Wiggins; sister, Virginia Wallace; brother, Roy Newton and wife,
Natalie; sister-in-law, Martha Lockard Fisher and her husband, Keith;
and brother-in-law, William Lockard and his wife, Thelma. Funeral
Services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2001 at 10AM at the
Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River, East
Lansing. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX-- CECAL RAY LYLES, 61, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, in Granbury while attending a square dance social event.
Funeral: pending with Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo.
Burial: Friends Cemetery in Oran, Mo., his hometown. A local memorial
service will be held later for friends.
Cecal Ray Lyles was born Aug. 16, 1936, in Checotah, Okla., to Charlie
and Opal Liles. His father preceded him in death in 1994.
On April 1, 1956, in Oran, Mo., Mr. Lyles married Carolyn Carter of Oran, who survives.
He was an Army veteran.
Mr. Lyles lived in the Fort Worth area for over 38 years. He entered
semi-retirement after working over 40 years as a supermarket manager
and started his own Furniture Medic repair business. He was very active
in his square dance social club, Lake Grapevine Wheelers and Dealers,
from which he gained much pleasure and enjoyed the benefit of many
friends.
Survivors: Wife, Carolyn Carter Lyles of North Richland Hills; mother,
Opal Liles of Oran, Mo.; sons, Eric Lyles and Brandon Lyles of Fort
Worth; granddaughter, Catrina Lyles of Fort Worth; and many friends.
