State of Missouri, County of St. Louis. Be it remembered that on this twelfth day of August A.D. eighteen hundred and fifty four before me, the undersigned George H. Stille, a Notary Public within and for the County aforesaid, duly commissioned and qualified came Arthur Olshausen, and Clara (nee Breitenstein) his wife, of the County of St. Louis, State of Missouri, both personally known to me, to be united in lawful wedlock, and then and there eternally deposed and said that on the twenty sixth day of June A.D. eighteen hundred and forty eight (1848) a male child was born unto them during said matrimony, which said child they personally presented, and in the presence of Theodore Olshausen and Henry Moyer, both personally known to me, identified and acknowledged the said boy as their own legitimate child and named him Gustavus Adolphus. In witness whereof the said Arthur Olshausen and Clara Olshausen, his wife, with the presence of Theodore Olshausen and Henry Moyer, subscribing witnesses hereto have set their hand this 12th day of August A.D. 1854.

State of Missouri, County of St. Louis. Be it remembered that on this twelfth day of August A.D. eighteen hundred and fifty four, before me, the undersigned George H. Stille, a Notary Public within and for the County aforesaid, duly commissioned and qualified, came Arthur Olshausen and Clara (nee Breitenstein) his wife, of the County of St. Louis, State of Missouri, both personally known to me, to be united in lawful wedlock, and then and there serually acknowledged and declared, that on the twenty ninth day of January A.D. eighteen hundred and fifty (1850) a male child was born unto them during said matrimony, which said child being personally produced, they, said parents, in the presence of Theodore Olshausen and Henry Moyer both personally known to me, identified and acknowledged the said boy as their own legitimate child and named him Ernest Paine. In witness whereof the said Arthur Olshausen and Clara Olshausen, his wife, in the presence of Theodore Olshausen and Henry Moyer, subscribing witnesses hereto have set their hand this 12th day of August A.D. 1854.

Stille a Notary Public within and for the County aforesaid, came Arthur Olshausen and Clara L. (nee Breitenstein) his wife of the City and County of St. Louis, State of Missouri, both personally known to me to be united in lawful wedlock, and residing at house No 916 Hickory Street in said City, and then and there severally deposed and said that on the twenty ninth day of June A.D. eighteen hundred and fifty six (1856) a male child was born unto them during said matrimony which said child they personally presented and in the presence of Barnard Kraft and Frederick S. Bohrens, subscribing witnesses, named Arthur Edward. In witness whereof the said Arthur Olshausen and Clara L. Olshausen, his wife, in the presence of Bernard Kraft and F. S. Bohrens, subscribing witnesses hereto have set their hands this 20th day of April A.D. 1869.
