GARRISON Jane C was born in Hampshire co, Va, 6 Aug 1814, and born again in her 17th year. Her maiden name was Vandiver, dau of Samuel Vandiver, decd. She was married to Thomas E Garrison, Sept 1835. She came to Mo in 1839, and departed this life in Shelbyville, Mo, 19 Apr 1877 She was a model in all the relations of life she filled as a wife and mother as a member of the Church. WW McMurry

GENTRY Mrs Susan H was born in Pike co, Mo, 28 Dec 1835, and died in Louisiana, Mo, 13 July 1877. She was married to Mr JM Gentry, Oct 1885; was converted to God in Greenfield, Ill, during the winter of 1855-6. Most of her life was spent in Louisiana A dark shadow has fallen over the household, a wife and mother has been taken. MMH

Gesick.Charles C. Gesick, formerly of St. Louis, was killed by a runaway horse, February 4, at Oklahoma City. He was at the time of his death at the head of a drug business owning four retail stores.

GRAGSBY Thomas A. was born in Va, 4 Jan 1804; married to Sarah A. Wayland in 1828; moved to Howard Co., Mo, in 1839; joined the MECS in 1849, and died 19 May 1877 To his Church he was truly devoted He leaves behind a wife, one dau, nine sons, seven of whom have wives, all members of the MECS, also, 9 grandchildren are now members of the Church of their grandfather. GRAY Sarah, wife of the late Rev John Gray, was born in Abbyville Dist, SC, on 19 Jan 1794, and departed this life in Jefferson City, Mo, on 12 Oct 1877. Her remains were brought to old Moreau Church, in Moniteau co, Mo, and were interred by the side of her husband who had preceded her to the land of spirits more than six years Let not those who mourn her, the children, the grandchildren, mourn as those without hope. Mrs. Nellie Christene Griggs - Pocahontas, AR--Mrs. Nellie Christene Griggs, age 63 of St. Louis, passed away at her home Aug. 26, 1982.  She was born March 12, 1919 at Burr, Mo., a daughter of the late Cecil and Ettie Carner Creason.  She was married to Edgar Griggs in 1933 at Maynard (AR).  He preceded her in death 17 months ago.
She was a faithful member of the Tidwell Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by two sons, Vernon and Leonard Griggs, both of St. Louis; four granddaughters; one great grandson; four brothers, Haskel Creason, Kansas City, Mo., Glenn Creason, Grandin, Mo., Herbert Creason, Risco, Mo., Willard Creason, St. Louis; three sisters, Thelma Risenhoover, Reyno, AR, Marie Russom and Juanita Green, both of St. Louis.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Alexandra and Son Funeral Home in St. Louis.  Burial followed in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in St. Louis.

Obit:  Hon. Henry S. Gyer died at his residence in St. Louis, last Sunday morning.  He was the oldest member of the St. Louis bar, having commenced the practice of law in that city in 1816.  He has been a prominent citizen of our Stat, for many years, and was much esteemed professionally and personally, by a large circle of acquaintances.  He died in the 69th year of his age.
