Bloody Deed of a Rebel in Missouri Weekly Wisconsin Patriot 26 Oct. 1861 |

In Stone county, Thomas Millikin, a violent rebel, who had been with Ben. McCulloch at the battle of Wilson's creek, is reported on the 9th ult. to have murdered his wife, because he suspected her of giving information of rebel movements to union men; and that in a fit of frenzy he afterwards killed two of his children, and then escaped to Arkansas.
