Mr. James U. THOMPSON, living near Cedar Cliff in this county, died Monday night. He was about 68 years old, a good citizen, and from youth a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Mary J. THOMPSON, widow of the late Jas. U. Thompson, whose home was near Cedar Cliff, died at the homeof her step-daughter, Mrs. D.C. Holt, a mile and a half southwest of here. Tuesday moring at 3 o'clock, aged over 70 years. The remains were buried at Hawfields yesterday.
