At Brown Marsh, Bladen County, Nov. 18, 1868, after a long and protracted illness, little KATIE BAKER SHARP, aged 1 year, 6 months and 24 days.
The deceased was the only daughter of Isaac N. and Eliza A. Sharp, who, although bereft of their little treasure, know she is gone.
"Out of the shadow of sadness
Into the sunshine of gladness
Into the light of the Blest,
Out of the land very droary,
Out of the world of the weary,
Into the rapture of Rest.
