Hi, my name is Brenda Neely. I will be
your Cherokee County Host as you travel though time, back
to when our ancestors, secured their place in our history. No
one is ever forgotten as long as one person remembers. That's
what we're here for, to clear the paths and remove the walls
of mystery, that surrounds our past. With your help we can
make this a one stop site for anyone researching their family
ties to Cherokee County, North Carolina.
I'd be very happy to accept any data you'd care
to contribute and would like to see displayed on this site.
We're looking for "raw data" - the birth/death/marriage
records, obituaries, cemetery headstone readings, biographies,
county histories, census data, pensions and other military
data. In short, we'd like to display all the items you used to
put together your family tree, rather then the tree it self.
You may contact me , and I'll be happy to place
your data on line as soon as possible.
We're looking for folks who share
our desire to put data online and are interested in helping
this project be as successful as we can make it. If you are
