Cemetery notes and/or description:
The remains of several British Sailors are buried on Ocracoke Island. The ground in which they are buried was granted to the British Crown,so that her sailors' eternal rest would be spent in British Soil. The Union Jack is flown over this sacred piece of the British Empire.
