The Lutheran Church
The New Bell

Messrs. Adrian & Vollers have presented the Luthern Church in this city with a fine new bell, which arrived from New York on the steamship W.P. Clyde yesterday morning, and has already been conveyed to the edifice. It is said to be of most excellent tone, and is of considerable size, weighing 1, 038 pounds. On one side is this inscription:

Presented by
Adrean Y Vollers,
1868.
"I to the Church the living call,
And to the grave do summon all."

On the other side is the name of the manufactures, Messrs. Jones & Co., Troy, New York, above which appears "St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church."
