1765-1768.   A petition from the “Regulators” of Orange County, NC, was sent to the Governor of NC.   They were protesting the tax on land purchases in Orange County.   Thomas Baily’s name was on the list.

11 Feb 1768.   The will of William Serjant Sr states his daughter Elizabeth got 100 acres  which he purchased from Thomas Bailey.
