Arthur
Shearer
Services for Arthur "Mick" Shearer, 64, will be at 11 a.m.
Thursday at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary in Riverside. He died
Saturday of pneumonia at Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center.
Burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery.
Mr. Shearer, who
was born in Randolph, Neb., lived in Riverside 54 years. He previously lived in
Yucaipa seven years.
He was a self-employed tow truck driver dispatched
by insurance companies in Riverside for 15 years before he retired in 1993. He
previously owned Shearer's Auto Body Shop in Riverside for 10 years.
Mr.
Shearer graduated from Riverside Poly High School in 1953.
He served in
the U. S. Army during the Korean War from 1954 until 1956.
Mr. Shearer
enjoyed trapshooting and bowling.
He is survived by his wife, Lola;
three sons, Michael, Robert and Randall, all of Riverside; and seven
grandchildren.
