Barney B. Bryant
Barney
B. Bryant, 72, of 126 East Arbor, River Park, died Monday
in a local nursing home.
He
was a retired police officer from Fairfield, Neb. He
was a member of the Masons, the Shrine and the Scottish
rites and was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors
are his widow, Olive Ray Bryant of Fort Pierce;
two sons, Barney B. Jr. of Norman, Okla., and William
R. Bryant, U.S.N., presently serving on the U.S.S. Bennington;
four grandchildren, and four brothers, William C. Bryant,
.Miami; Walter Bryant, Leavenworth, Kans.; Charles Bryant
of Rockford, III., and Robert Bryant of Ajo, Ariz.,
and two sisters, Mrs.Etta Wheeler of Ganke, Nev., and
Mrs. Alberta Gaskell of Belle Glade, Fla.
Services
will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Baird Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard C. Shimer of Dutton
Memorial Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial
will he in Fort Pierce Cemetery. Friends may call at
the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
