Stabbed Nine Times

Quarrel Ends Unluckily for Two Young Men at Overton

Special Dispatch to the World Herald.
Overton, Nebraska, December 14.A stabbing affair occurred at Overton last night. The quarrel started between to young men, Harry Carr and Frank Hendrichson.

Harry Carr stabbed Hendrichson nine times in the back and side, causing him to fall from the loss of blood. He was carried into a barber shop close by. Dr. E. O. Boardman was called and dressed the wounds. The injured man is resting easy at this writing.

Carr was arrested, had a hearing and was bound over to the next term of court.

H. Rogers Shot    

Confined in jail at Lexington, Neb., on a charge of horse stealing attempted to escape.

Deputy Sheriff Lamma shot Rogers through the heart.
