William and Ella Putnam had a homestead in Dundy Co when he was 70 years old -- 1910.  It is referenced on the family tree, but it is believed they didn't come to Dundy Co. until they were older.  They probably moved there to be closer to their children, Wm.  Henry, Llewellyn, and Eunice, who were living in Dundy County.
