Wheat
Turning Out Well
Farmers
are now threshing their wheat and the
yield breaks all records. J. H.
Thuman, four miles southwest of
here, threshed forty-one and a half
bushels per acre and tested sixty-two
pounds per bushel. The average
yeild
of winter wheat will be about thirty-five
bushels, and spring wheat twenty. Corn
is looking well, but needs
rain.
