Burtie Babcock
On the 22d inst., of diptheria Burtie, son of William and Mary M. Babcock, aged 7 years, 10 months and 15 days. Just a few minutes before death of this much loved and bright and promising boy, he showed signs of getting better by pleasantly engaging in play with his father. But the Lord chose to take him to His heavenly Kingdom where sickness and disease are unknown, and where the cup of joy and true happiness is ever full. [The Fairbury Gazette, October 25, 1879]
