Isaac Lamb
Isaac Lamb, residing seven miles west of Beatrice, died Sunday at noon after an illness of about three months, caused by paralysis. Mr. Lamb was a pioneer resident of Gage county and was 73 years of age. He is survived by a widow and four children, two daughters and two sons. A more extended notice of his death will appear later. Isaac Lamb was born July 1831 in Johnsville, Richland Co., Ohio. Died Jan. 22, 1905, at the home place after an illness of about nine weeks.
Mr. Lamb lived in Iowa nineteen years previous to his removal to Gage Co., Nebraska, in 1870, where he has since resided.
Dec. 7, 1854, he was married to Isabella McElroy who still survives him. Five children were born to this union, Mrs. Martha Bartlett, John, Miss Emma and Will Lamb. Mary died in infancy.
The deceased lived on the home place 35 years. He was an ambitious and courageous man, a kind and pleasant neighbor, and his death is deeply regretted by all who knew him.
The funeral was held from the family home seven miles northwest of this city yesterday afternoon at one o'clock. Rev. J.W. Merrill was in charge. Notwithstanding the bitter cold a large number of friends were present to sympathize with the family. For this and the many acts of kindness during the illness of Mr. Lamb, the family wish to thank the friends and neighbors. Interment was made in the Kilpatrick cemetery.

Isabella Lamb
At 12 o'clock yesterday Mrs. Isabella Lamb died at the home place, seven miles west of Beatrice. Mrs. Lamb was 73 years of age and leaves four children to mourn her loss. They are Mrs. Ed Bartlett, John Lamb, Wm. Lamb and Emma Lamb. Mrs. Lamb was one of those good-hearted whole-souled persons who always brought sunshine wherever she was. Her many acquaintances will learn of her death with sorrow. He husband, Isaac Lamb, died three months ago. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Kilpatrick cemetery.
